Osteopaths train for a minimum 4 years and like a GP are considered Primary Healthcare Practitioners. This means you do not need to be referred by a GP as osteopaths are trained to recognise and diagnose symptoms and if needed refer you to another specialist. Osteopaths will often work alongside your GP. |
